Policy : CRA Guidance

First year on the SEIA Board of Directors, helping to infuse equity at the heart of the industry —

Issued guidance for the comment period of the CRA

While the US anticipates one of the biggest moves on climate in our Nation's history, a little known law, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) has also embarked on a critical upgrade. Put in place to address the state-sponsored racism of redlining, the CRA now has the potential to increase access to renewable energy for historically excluded communities.

Thank you to Solar Energy Industries Association, American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), and the Black Owners of Solar Services for contributing comments and leading an equitable transition.
