ACORE Finance Forum & Accelerate Alumni Reunion

Panel Highlight: Unlocking Capital for Community-Centered Clean Energy

Convene | June 4, 2025 | Part of the ACORE Accelerate Alumni Showcase

On June 4, 2025, Solar Stewards proudly participated in the annual ACORE Finance Forum and Accelerate Alumni Reunion held at Convene, 237 Park Avenue in New York City. The event, hosted by the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), brought together senior leaders from across the clean energy finance ecosystem, including project developers, investors, corporate buyers, and policymakers. Representing Solar Stewards was our Founder and CEO, Ms. Dana Clare Redden, who joined fellow alumni of the ACORE Accelerate program to spotlight the progress and potential of equity-driven clean energy solutions.

As an inaugural Accelerate Fellow, Ms. Redden shared how Solar Stewards continues to bridge corporate ESG commitments with community solar development through its Social RECs® model—ensuring marginalized communities are not left behind in the energy transition. The two-day event emphasized strategies to navigate financing challenges amid evolving IRA policy guidance and highlighted the role of small, mission-driven developers in shaping the future of clean energy. Solar Stewards' participation reinforced the importance of embedding environmental justice and frontline leadership within the renewable energy finance space.
