VOTE Solar is a national nonprofit organization that works to bring solar into the mainstream with grassroots action and technical expertise. Dana Clare Redden, CEO of Solar Stewards, is on the 2024 Access and Equity Advisory Committee. This was the first in-person retreat for Vote Solar, as previous ones were remote due to the pandemic. We worked on policy recommendations for the equitable build out of the distribution grid. Vote Solar is now writing a white paper about how redlining and the distribution grid are interconnected.
